Hannah's Swimming Lessons

Introduction: I have over 9 years of experience working with children in the physical education arena, and I have taught swimming to children as young as 11 months. As a swim instructor, I believe that it is extremely important that an instructor is patient and gentle with the student, especially if the student Ian afraid or is very young. I always look for ways to make swimming fun for the child and to get them to relax while they swim. As a result, I was and am often requested for maintenance lessons (extra lessons that serve to help the child maintain his/her swimming skills after the initial lesson package has been completed) by the parents of the children that I had just taught to swim. I always go out of my way to treat the children with care and respect, because I want them to build their confidence as swimmers so that they can enjoy getting in the water, but most importantly, so that they will be safe when they do. Finally, I love working with children, and I strive to make my students feel comfortable with me and the water. I also believe that good communications is the key to success and I always communicate with the parents in order to meet the goals that the parents want their child to achieve. I am a CPR/First Aid certified, and I have had a junior lifeguard training. I offer competitive pricing and swim packages. I am looking forward to working with you and your child! I take great pride in connecting personally with all of my students and being able to encourage them and give them the confidence that they need in order to become the strong swimmer that they can be. I believe in the power of encouragement and kindness while also challenging each student to do their best and not to allow fear to hold them back. My favorite part of being an instructor is seeing my student improve drastically by the end of the lessons, especially if the student was afraid to swim in the beginning. I believe all of my students are capable of becoming confident and skilled swimmers, and it is my privilege to be able to help them reach their full swimming potential.
