A mutual friend from Narragansett recommended Marc to me to handle some rather extensive (and overdue!) home renovations. I had met with two other contractors and ended up choosing Marc based on his willingness to handle my laundry list of improvements and his general pleasant demeanor. He was willing to accommodate my schedule, worked weekends and allowed me to be a part of the process for some of the projects. The major jobs Marc completed were, installation of bamboo flooring on the entire second floor of my home, built a new cedar enclosure for the outdoor shower, installed new oak staircase leading upstairs, removal of old grout and regrouting of bathroom floor tile, installation of new bathroom sink fixtures and finish work in the kitchen including interior overhaul of tall kitchen pantry and trim work. He handled all the prep work prior to the repainting of the entire second floor and provided the additional necessary contractors for electrical, plumbing and painting. He oversaw, from start to finish each project, stayed on schedule and did not exceed my budget. Marc was punctual, easy to make contact with and was a pleasure to have working in my home. His work is of excellent quality and I would highly recommend him for anyone looking to do a little "fixing up" as well as a major renovation.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing is straight forward. It is simply based on time and materials. Labor varies slightly due to the difficulty , or accessibility of the work and work site.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I set down at least twice with a new customer ( pen and paper in hand ) to jot down ideas and sketches of the project. That assures everyone is on the same page from then on.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
No education, just lots of time on the job site. That to me is better than a diploma.
