I have a passion for helping people reach their goals and accomplish overall well-being. I believe I help clients find a new hope that changes lives regardless of age and circumstance. I offer my clients a safe place to work through their challenges together with compassion and encouragement. I have experience working with children, adolescents and adults with a variety of issues including: trauma/PTSD, disassociation, depression, anxiety, self-esteem, life transitions, spirituality and women's issues.
In order to help individuals meet their goals, I customize each treatment plan by utilizing several approaches collaboratively including: Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Neurofeedback (NFB), Person Centered Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Goal Directed Therapy, Mindfulness, and Family Systems.
So much of what plagues people can be overcome through spending time resolving the source of the distress. Anxiety, depression, unresolved trauma and many other mental hardships can cause more than just mental anguish. It can lead to somatic problems including fatigue, insomnia, chronic pain, autoimmune disorders, stomach and digestive problems and others. Unresolved mental and emotional issues further disrupt the initiation or maintenance of healthy happy relationships. It is so wonderful for me help individuals find the strength to do and be what they want without the impedance of a mental disorder. I love seeing the change that can occur within just a few months of therapy. There is nothing better than witnessing clients not just reach their goals but find happiness that once seemed impossible.
