Introduction: I offer customized, breath-centric, spine-centered yoga practice that helps practitioners to optimize their physical, physiological, and cognitive capacity. The practice guides students at all levels to increase their self-awareness and experience structural and energetic benefits that can lead to self-transformation.
I enjoy guiding students to use their breath effectively as they develop their physical body in asana practice. Teaching students to use their breath to benefit their physiological functioning and manage their energy is very rewarding. Students have shared comments, such as the following:
* They felt like they've had full body massage.
* They have never been taught to use their breath so effectively in any other yoga practice.
* They feel refreshed and energized or calm and relaxed and would love to feel like this at work.
All these comments and more motivate me to design classes to meet the student's needs. Recently, I've developed yoga for office workers to help them manage their stress at work right in their chair!
