- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I price my services competitively to try to arrive at a point which is mutually beneficial to both of us. I also have a referral bonus for available for everyone that I work with who provides me with new customers.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I communicate with my customers in order to learn the specifics of their situation for the service I am to provide. For a 1040, this can typically done via a short email conversation. For accounting and book-keeping services, a 15-30 minute conversation on the phone is typically sufficient to form a plan of the scope of work and the estimate of how many hours it would entail. I do not charge for the phone consultation.
