Introduction: I work closely with my clients to provide service specific to their individual needs. For typical 1040 individual tax returns, I have a secure portal set up where my clients can answer a questionnaire and upload their tax documents easily and securely. With this option, we can do everything 100% remotely if that's what you want to do. I also will meet with my clients at their location or mine to exchange documents if that is what they prefer. I enjoy the variety of the work that accounting provides. I have seen many different types of businesses, of all sizes, and enjoy figuring out the best plan of attack for each situation.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I price my services competitively to try to arrive at a point which is mutually beneficial to both of us. I also have a referral bonus for available for everyone that I work with who provides me with new customers.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I communicate with my customers in order to learn the specifics of their situation for the service I am to provide. For a 1040, this can typically done via a short email conversation. For accounting and book-keeping services, a 15-30 minute conversation on the phone is typically sufficient to form a plan of the scope of work and the estimate of how many hours it would entail. I do not charge for the phone consultation.
