My son and I are finishing a basement in a St. Paul rental property. Because this basement is always cold and damp, we decided to use spray foam for insulation. We both have read about the outstanding benefits of closed cell foam, especially on basement walls. Our only real hesitation was the anticipated additional cost over fiberglass insulation. Scott explained to us that although closed cell spray foam seems expensive when you compare it to fiberglass, the comparison is similar to comparing apples and oranges. The foam simply out performs in every category. What was most helpful is that Scott proposed that we insulate to R-10 with an average of 1.5" of closed cell foam. The bid price came in a bit lower then we expected. When his crew showed up, they seemed polite and went right to work. They verified what they were intending to do then they used the egress window to get all their equipment in including the hose from the truck. The project only took about 5 hours. They cleaned up well. When I inspected the project as they were finishing, I was amazed at the difference the foam made. Instead of the basement feeling cold and damp, it felt warm and comfortable. We are very pleased we decided to use spray foam and that we selected NES Spray Foam to do the work. Thank you Scott and Crew.

NES have done many projects for me from small residential to large commercial. They take care of business from start to finish. Very conscientious and very professional. Their knowledge of the product and ability to share that is critical as well. They do.
