How did you get started doing this type of work?
Ryan- I started in dog training when I became a K9 Police Officer in Tennessee. I played an integral role in the secure investigation of FBI, TBI, ATF, DEA, and other local law enforcement cases with an assigned K9. I found over 70 criminal offenses and improved community crime prevention awareness by using the K9 as a marketing and engagement tool.
Milo- I have over 7 years experience working with dogs of all sizes and breeds through my experience working at a boarding location. I was able to learn pack management skills, reducing dog stress and aggressiveness, and general dog training techniques.

In 2012 K9SF acquired land in Estill Springs, TN and transformed 42 acres of woodland into a main office that provides training grounds, emergency assistance, and volunteer work to the community. Through alot of hard work we continue to improve our facilities and expand our services, adding new locations worldwide.
K9SF opened an office in Minneapolis, next to the Walker Art Museum and is happy to offer training at that location.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
You should ensure that your trainer has knowledge and experience appropriate to your training requirements and can present the training in an easy to understand way.
What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
They should understand specifically what they want their dog to do / not do and understand that results are only possible through consistency and repetition.
