Introduction: While in Kansas City I have been involved with several area organizations including: Kansas City Symphony, Topeka Symphony, Symphony of Northwest Arkansas, Kansas City Jazz Orchestra, teacher at Harmony Project KC and I am a member of Mezzo String. Additionally, I have enjoyed experiences performing with artists such as: Trans Siberian Orchestra, Peter Gabriel, Josh Groban, and Rod Stewart.
I have taught private violin and viola for more than 8 years. In 2013 I received my Bachelor's Degree in Music Education from UMKC, and in May of 2016 received my Master of Music in Viola Performance at the Peabody Conservatory of Johns Hopkins University. While in Baltimore I worked with various organizations such as: Baltimore Symphony, OrchKids, Occasional Symphony, and Mid-Atlantic Symphony Orchestra. My love for teaching and performing has motivated me to inspire people of varying backgrounds, including welcoming new-comers to the classical music world.
My passion for music performance and education has allowed me to develop a devotion to sharing multi-genre music with all. My goals include: ever improving performance and helping connect people through various types music. In the summer of 2013 along with the help of my brother, Nick Bell, I co-founded Classical Revolution KC: an organization that strives to make live classical music performances accessible to people of all walks of life.
