FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Yes - Free!!!! A minister should never CHARGE for their services rendered. Now turning, alms, gifts and plain donations are welcome IF you want but not required for services. If we have to travel, we do ask for .25¢ a mile outside of the Randolph or Chariton county. Depends on which office we're coming from.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
In a wedding; counseling for one quarter of their planning process unless it's a quick wedding then we require at least one day. If you've been married before, we do no counseling unless you want it. Family Counseling; we get to know a little about the marriage, we counsel on the sin then we counsel spiritually. Drug Counseling; we counsel from our experience either of our own or of past experiences with others (no names will be mentioned), then we do spiritual. Alcohol Counseling; we do the same as drug counseling. Funerals; not so much counseling on that subject as it is more spiritual, forgiveness, understanding ones anger over the passing of another, bringing that love and good memories to be remembered forever.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Our education is minister/preacher workshops, experience (more than other ministers), researching, and just simple listening more than reacting.
