Introduction: Ever since I was a kid I was a curious child. I loved taking apart and putting things back together. I learned some fun electrical projects from my grandfather who was also a handyman (he built his house from scratch). I have been doing various projects for my family and myself for 5+ years now. I have been training with Martynas Karys since we were both in our teens and seen him teach students of various ages and I have to say that he is an honest, dedicated and passionate teacher when it comes to not only showing a particular technique but also transmitting his enthusiasm and energy to the individual he is interacting with. Instructor is very clear with his presentation and goals for each lesson and most importantly he is real with what should or should not be used in real life scenario, these little aspects which are usually ignored may save my or my loved ones life someday. He obviously is very advanced and has a lot of martial arts experience, but what I like is that he cherry picks what is really important in self defense for everyday guy like me. It is really cool to see the emerging community he built which allows people who live a busy life to also feel a part of supportive and motivating martial artists family.

Martynas Karys is one excellent martial artist with a deep knowledge of the subject. Training with Master MK was great, the best thing that I would say was probably his ability to explain the movements in simple words and examples. He makes it very easy to understand how to execute techniques. He went into small details like shifting of the weight, turning and twisting of different body parts and so on. I also liked the self-defense concepts, they are simple and easy to learn. I felt a lot more confident in my ability after just a few lessons. I highly recommend him.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I priced my services very competitively to account for my travel time and expenses. I can provide an option to pay via cash or credit card (paypal).
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First I ask questions on goals and expectations, once I know what the customer wants to achieve I create a plan on how I will go about on completing their project and achieving their goals/fulfilling expectations. I will explain thoroughly what I will be doing and take the customer along the journey, should they want to be involved.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am self-trained, there is no better teacher than life and practice. I did learn some things from my Grandfather growing up, I think the biggest thing I learned from him was to apply my natural curiosity.
