Introduction: I have been a bookkeeper for the past 13 years and have done taxes for the past 10 years. I received my associate's degree in accounting in 2007 and my bachelor's degree in accounting in 2011. I have worked in the accounting field for several different types of companies that include law firms, property management, manufacturing, construction, retail, CPA firms, and currently, a boat marina which also operates a wedding venue. I have obtained my bookkeeper certification from the NACPB in 2014. For tax preparation, I have worked for H&R Block, Liberty Tax, tax service companies, and CPA firms. I have experience in preparing individual, partnership, estate, not-for-profit, and corporate tax returns. I am an IRS authorized ERO and in the process of obtaining my tax certification with the NACPB. I am currently employed full-time, but I am ready to branch out and work for myself. I have a handful of clients now, but it is not quite enough to quit my full-time job yet. I am looking to meet new people and use my knowledge and skills to earn your trust, respect, and business all while offering an affordable rate. I enjoy helping my clients the most. I hate seeing customers being overcharged for mediocre services these days. Some of the companies out there treat their customers like they are just a number to them and then push them out the door so they can get to the next one. That isn't right and there are so many mistakes being made and customers are leaving their hard earned money on the table because no one took the time to ask the proper questions. I hate seeing that and I strive to make sure you are getting the best quality work at an affordable rate. I care about my clients and take the time to understand exactly what they need and provide it to them.
