Introduction: I run a virtual bookkeeping business, specializing in contractors (electricians, plumbers, HVAC technicians, roofers, etc.) across the country. Cloud-based systems give you any-time access to your accounts, the convenience of access through your phone, and the confidence that your financial records are always secure and backed-up. You will pay one fixed, monthly cost that will cover all your bookkeeping needs (recording and categorizing transactions, reconciling bank accounts, and creating financial reports). I also offer optional A/P and A/R services. I pride myself in maintaining a close working relationship with a select group of clients. Every day, you will use your phone to take a picture of your receipts that will automatically upload to your bookkeeping software. Every week, I will review your transactions and contact you if anything looks off. Every month, we will review your finances so you will know exactly where your business stands and can decide if you want to make any changes going forward.   • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

    I have a fixed monthly fee for each of my clients. This includes everything – subscription fees when applicable, reconciling bank accounts, classifying transactions, creating reports on a monthly basis, and a monthly discussion about your business finances. Every business is unique, so I will need to schedule a consultation with you to determine your specific needs so I can give you a proposal. As a general guideline of what to expect, my minimum fee is $250. (If you have fewer than 75 transactions a month, one bank account, and one credit card, you will likely pay this minimum.) If there is catch-up bookkeeping work or a great deal of cleanup required, my proposal will include the cost for that as well. Additionally, I provide bill pay and accounts receivable services. These can be part of the services I provide you from the beginning or we can add them on at a later date. I do not create long term contracts for my clients. I believe that our relationship is built on mutual trust and I always strive to provide the best possible service to my clients. If, at any point, you no longer desire my services, I will complete work for the current month and then we will part ways.
