- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I have a fixed monthly fee for each of my clients. This includes everything – subscription fees when applicable, reconciling bank accounts, classifying transactions, creating reports on a monthly basis, and a monthly discussion about your business finances. Every business is unique, so I will need to schedule a consultation with you to determine your specific needs so I can give you a proposal. As a general guideline of what to expect, my minimum fee is $250. (If you have fewer than 75 transactions a month, one bank account, and one credit card, you will likely pay this minimum.) If there is catch-up bookkeeping work or a great deal of cleanup required, my proposal will include the cost for that as well. Additionally, I provide bill pay and accounts receivable services. These can be part of the services I provide you from the beginning or we can add them on at a later date. I do not create long term contracts for my clients. I believe that our relationship is built on mutual trust and I always strive to provide the best possible service to my clients. If, at any point, you no longer desire my services, I will complete work for the current month and then we will part ways.
