I am a contractor that hired Paul as a subcontractor to refinish 2 exterior doors in Castle Rock. The job started off Ok...but then went south because of lack of communication, and not showing up when he said he would be there. Once Paul showed up he would not work very much, because he was too busy talking to his girlfriend. When he did work the job moved along sufficiently, but that was never the case. What should have taken less than a week dragged into over a month before the job got finished. Paul's work was good...but his work ethic and personal issues got in the way of finishing the job on time. The Homeowner was frustrated beyond belief and was glad when the job finally ended and she could move on with her life. I wish Paul the best....he really needs to work on his communication skills and show up when he sez he will be there. He also needs to leave his personal problems at home...not bring to the job. K.

Ponderosa Paul's reply
Please note: The Contractor stated "Paul does good work". Unfortunately , I was between a contractor and a homeowner, who could not decide what type, color, or finish they wanted. I spent hours at the paint stores getting a variety of samples without success. Additionally, the weather was very uncooperative with this outside job. When everything was finally done and the homeowner was happy, she hired me to complete a third entryway! What she is frustrated by, is that Kevin Tucker, the contractor has been working on painting the house for over 2 years! The home owner is happy with my work, and even tipped me upon completion.
