FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Yes, my standard price is $65 per session if you pay as you go (paid online or point of contact via Square). While you may want to sign up for a few sessions to begin with so you can test the waters, there are additional benefits if you commit to at least 3 months upfront. Not only will you receive up to 40% discount for those 3 months, and you'll remain at that rate month-to-month as long as you stay on board, but the "3 month mark" is when results really start showing. Plus, when you invest more because you value yourself, you're more likely to succeed. Depending on the frequency of weekly sessions (and this is flexible), and whether you're training alone or with others my rates range from $234/mo (for 1 person training once a week) - $1529/ (for 4 people training 3 times a week). Individual and couples training take place at my studio in Jenkintown, PA. For groups of 4, I will travel to your home, office, or local park to deliver your training sessions (and I can bring all the equipment we need for the perfect workout). Rates include up to 15 minutes of travel time (based on google maps' estimate for the time of day your session is scheduled for) from my home in Hatboro, PA 19040. However, from 15-30 minutes travel time there will be a flat fee of $10 (I only charge travel for my drive to our sessions). I also have various packages which can be discussed. They include training sessions, a fitness program and possibly a blend of in-person and online coaching (ex. One in person session and one online session via Skype per week if you live farther away). Wedding Packages, Transformation Packages, Beach Body, Glute Building Programs and I can help you achieve your very first unassisted Chin-up/Pull up with my new program. NOTE: If there's a month that has 5 weeks then that is included in your payment. You can pay this online via my subscription or invoice system.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Firstly we have a free consultation by phone. This consultation involves me getting to know my new client better, and them getting to know me. It's important to see if the coach/coachee relationship is a good fit for both parties. The central mission of my business is to meet my clients where they are at on their fitness journey and take them to where they want to go so getting to know more about their history with exercise and what is driving/impeding them helps when structuring their coaching. During the first meeting I gather information about the prospective client so that I understand their goal(s), why it's important, timeframe, any any other expectations they have regarding training. I listen out for any anxiety or self-doubt they might have about what the sessions might be like so I can provide information about my training approach and offer a proposal for how many sessions, how many months, and any additional advice that will help them in reaching their goals. Once they are happy to continue, I ask them to complete a Heath Questionnaire/Par-Q to identify and categorise any risk of conditions that may require exercise modification or clearance by a medical professional. Next, we move to completing my client consent and agreement form so we can begin planning their first training session. The first session is what I call a "foundations day" and is much less intense as we go through my client's movement assessment which establishes their baseline. This helps me tailor workouts to their current capabilities. If the client is inexperienced with exercises, I will spend this initial session refining exercise form on 8 foundation movement patterns which are essential to establish early on so progressions can be considered carefully. These movement patterns are: a squat, a hip hinge, push-up, a Glute bridge, lunge, overhead press, row, and a plank. These patterns show me my clients current motor control (mobility, stability, co-ordination, awareness) and technique. Any tightness or pain can be addressed (appropriate referrals made to other professionals if required) and the safest, individualised plan made to help them reach and exceed their goals. Each session after that may include skill work along side the workouts so they reach their goal by building on a strong foundation. I am always happy to answer questions along the way.
