Introduction: I teach students to master one of the most difficult instruments, the violin. My method is simple and requires the student to follow easy steps. Most violin teachers overwhelm there students with too much information at once. I break down the technique into small bite-sized pieces so that the process of learning to play the violin is simple. I'm also not limited to classical music and can teach my students to improvise and play different genres.
I love seeing progress in my students. If I can teach them to enjoy playing the fiddle as much as I do, I'm a happy camper.

Tamara has been working with my 14 year old son and 9 year old daughter for the past 6 months. She is excellent, very good with different age children, and what I like most is that she is genuinely concerned about their progress unlike some other teachers I've had in the past. She always gives me updates from their lessons so I know what they're working on. I highly recommend her!

I'm actually a music teacher and a composer, but had never learned how to play any bowed string instruments as much as I love Classical music. I was referred to Tamara by a friend who's child had been studying violin with her. They told me she was just fantastic with children, and incredibly patient. I didn't know how she would be with adults, but she is incredible! She's so knowledgeable, I feel like I've really advanced in a short amount of time and have a much deeper understanding of all the bowed string instruments. I highly recommend her as somebody great with children and adults!

Tamara provided beautiful music for my wedding's cocktail hour and dining. Her violin playing is gorgeous, interesting, classic, and provides an amazing listening experience for a trained ear and a gorgeous sound for the casual listener. She's super sweet to work with, and toughed out a super cold October night to play until dusk. 10/10 will always recommend her to anyone!
