We are a Bay Area start-up business with the goal of helping homeowners choose the right contractor to perform home improvement projects at the right price. As a start-up, we are looking to offer our services for a flat fee of $30 for a limited time in order to refine our process. Our company was founded by a former insulation removal and installation contractor, project manager, and salesperson who sold and managed over 5,000 successful insulation projects in the Bay Area. What we offer: 1) Once the homeowner gets 2-3 estimates from insulation companies, we run a thorough background check for licenses, insurance, bonding info and workers comp and check for any open/closed claims against the business. We provide the homeowner with a full report and review the information collaboratively so the homeowner can make an informed decision. 2) We check the contract and scope of work to make sure the project matches the homeowners' goal. Put simply, we help avoid "surprises" and insure high quality of materials and labor. 3) After choosing the right contractor for the job, we negotiate a better price directly with the contractor on behalf of the homeowner, while maintaining good relations with the contractor and keeping the same quality of work. We specialize in insulation installation and removal, rodent proofing, air duct system installations, radiant barrier and vapor barrier installations. So far we've helped over 50 homeowners and saved them an average of $400 from the price with their preferred insulation contractor. Homeowners also reduced their time spent choosing a contractor, and avoided mistakes during the job.
