FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I usually work for an estimated fee rather than an hourly rate. This tends to be less intimidating for most clients. But when a client insists on an hourly, it's $95/hr.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to get a feel for the client by speaking to them personally, one on one over the phone and getting as much detail on the project as I can. This is essential for building an accurate quote that's beneficial for both parties. Then I email a quote with the job description, price and expectations.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I spent 4 glorious years at The Academy of Art in San Fransisco. From 1975 to 1979. And a few more at the trade school of hard knocks.
