- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Session prices are most often set in stone, unless I have a special running. The only fees that vary are travel costs, and if you order prints.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
When a new client is interested in my services, I will first ask them to fill out a form. Once that has been completed we would set up a time and place to meet, just to talk about the event and it gives the client a chance to express exactly what they want. We may also go over contracts at this time as well.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Look through their portfolios. Ask questions, there are never too many answers. Request examples of their work. You will know when you've found the perfect photographer.
