- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We charge flat fees for trademark services.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Our clients contact us with a trademark question. Assuming we have no conflicts representing them, then we enter into an engagement agreement for trademark services. At that point, an attorney-client relationship is established.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I received my undergraduate and law degrees from Vanderbilt University. After law school, I worked for 14 years at a large, regional law firm where I focused on intellectual property matters (trademarks, copyrights, and patents). I left the partnership of that law firm to start my current firm, Trust Tree. Trust Tree focuses exclusively on delivering trademark services easily, conveniently, and affordably. Our mission is to make sure every business, no matter its size, has an effective trademark strategy. I'm an active member of both the International Trademark Association and American Bar Association.
