FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My rates are $100 for 50min or $60 for 25min. If price is the only drawback, I can work within your budget.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Your first lesson begins before you arrive because I ask every new student to be prepared to sing a verse and chorus of two different, contrasting songs (i.e. up-tempo vs. ballad, Pop vs. Country, etc.). This allows me to take notes and then reaffirm your strengths as well as get a game plan together for trouble areas.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a Bachelor of Music from Belmont University (Major in Commercial music, Principle in Commercial Voice and a triple emphasis in Vocal Performance, Songwriting and Music Business). Additionally, being a Top 20 Male Finalist on Season 12 of American Idol provided a lot insight into the music business and allowed me the opportunity to learn from Beyonce's vocal coach Nick Cooper. He's the best, but he's also about $400 an hour.
