Introduction: Our faculty has in depth expertise and life long passion enthusiasm for music. Active performers are vitally interesting teachers, and they demonstrate a variety of ways that students can incorporate music into their lives.
Teaching is also a learning experience -- I find that guiding my students enhances my ability to constantly improve my own playing, and to discover new ways to communicate how to learn and perform.

My daughter studies Violin with Idalynn Besser. Idalynn (DeeDee) is a wonderful and supportive teacher of both Violin & Viola. She is very knowledgeable and tailors her teaching techniques to each individual student from the beginner to the advanced. DeeDee is caring and on numerous occasions has been available to answer questions about string problems, tuning, or lesson questions outside of the studio via text or face time. She lays down a good foundation for the student in all aspects of playing (holding the insrument properly, bow hold, bow technique, scales, rhythms, advanced techniques) which helps ensure success for the student. DeeDee is just an overall caring person, teacher, and performer who knows her craft. My rising seventh grade daughter said, "She is encouraging, challenging, and has a wonderful sense of humor. Mom, I am so glad you found her!"

My daughter has taken both violin and piano at The Music House from different teachers. I can highly recommend the teachers - they are professional, and also connect to the kids to make music engaging and fun. This has been a formative experience in my daughter's life and I am extremely grateful towards the teachers and The Music House.

Emily has been a student since this past summer. We needed to add a new dimension to her training and Idalynn has been the perfect fit to enhance her classical violin performance.

Both of my children have been taking lessons (violin and piano) at The Music House for two years now and we have had a wonderful experience. Our teachers have been professional and engaged. They seem to know how to really work well with each individual child and cater the lessons to their level as well as their needs/desires. I can't recommend strongly enough!

I am consistently impressed by how much each teacher pours into my daughter. They truly understand the whole child and are invested in each one. We have had lessons in multiple instruments throughout the past few years and we have enjoyed them all. Loyal customers here. I always recommend them to anyone wanting lessons!
