What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First meeting, either via phone or in person, generally lasts about 30 minutes and is FREE to the client. At that time we will discuss the needs of their individual case and come up with a plan of action to move forward. We at Everette Law will always do everything in our power to resolve our clients issues as quickly and as peacefully as possible, but know that if necessary we will fight tooth and nail for our clients and their families.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Bachelor of Science from David Lipscomb University, Major: Accounting; Law Degree/License in Tennessee; Rule 31 Mediator; and years of experience practicing family and estate law in Middle Tennessee.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your service? If so, please share the details here.
Every case is different and will need a different plan of action. Uncontested divorces typically cost about $500 while contested divorces will vary depending upon the needs of the case.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Always make sure that your attorney is doing the work they're charging you for. Make sure that they're not dragging out your divorce, which is already going to be difficult time for you, longer than necessary just to charge you more.
What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
This is your life, your attorney is here to help you get it back.......but the only way that will happen is if they know everything they need to know. Even if you don't think it's a big deal, you still need to share with your attorney. Remember, they're on your side and doing everything they can to win for you.
