- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I chose to work in this industry because I have an acute eye for small details and gifted in my approach to color, design, and function of spaces in an environment. I began working as an assistant for a contractor in 2007. We did everything from bath and kitchen remodel to entire interior repainting and restoration. I helped with his rental properties and the interior painting on his own home. I then worked on a paint crew for musician Jack White on his own properties and his Thirdman Records building project. All this work was very detailed and became my aspiration to provide high level of quality in the work we do and not cut corners like so many others in this field.
