Introduction: I have 10 years' experience as a motivational survivor speaker, an activist, social entrepreneur, and success coach. I specialize in powerful presentations for college students, youth, and women - particularly focusing on overcoming adversity, leadership development, and women's empowerment. I've devoted my life since 'surviving' to advocating for women and girls and launching initiatives to help them find success. When I'm not speaking, I love PR and communications. Much of my personal and professional success came from building my brand, getting involved, and mastering how I communicate. This transferred into my professional life and my field experience. As a result, I also have ten years of experience in diverse executive-level positions handling all communications, public relations, marketing, branding, writing, public image and press relations, and business development for large companies, nonprofits, public figures, and major events. I have a true passion for success and making an impact. I've overcome great hardship and loss to build from the bottom up. From hard work and perseverance, I eventually found myself launching wide-scale community initiatives, spearheading major nonprofit initiatives, receiving recognitions for my work, returning to school after dropping out to become Valedictorian, and receiving promotions to work in a top executive position working for the State. My determination and work ethic has allowed me to participate in diverse experiences - from working in the court system, to event management, writing and media broadcasting, to press relations during a nationally covered murder trial, to launching my own nonprofit. Today, I'm a self-employed motivational speaker specializing in college, youth, and women's markets. However, I can never ignore my love for communications. I work as a consultant and freelance contractor year-round with small businesses, startups, entrepreneurs, nonprofits, and events. I offer everything from speech help, to marketing and branding, PR and community outreach, press relations, and more. I'm also an expert in writing resumes, cover letters, and LinkedIn profiles with incredible success stories and a 100% beyond-satisfaction rate.
