American Fitness is now part of my life. Jacob Ferry came into my life after recovering from stage 4 cancer. He listened to my needs, helped me set goals and made a plan to help me get my health and fitness back. Jacob makes sure every move I make is with proper form which has boosted my results and increased my strength and endurance. Every workout is different, I never get bored and actually look forward to it. I am now 40 lbs. lighter and in better health than ever in my life. I have completed my 1st year with American Fitness and have run 2 5K races; I never liked running before. I continue to stay active and set new goals due entirely to the confidence instilled by Jacob Ferry's motto - Take Control.

Jacob created a season long workout routine for my competitive Ultimate Frisbee team. The program started from a nice easy base workout schedule and has progressively gotten harder each week making it more and more challenging for our players in a VERY GOOD way! As captain, I can visibly see the progress our players have made in terms of endurance, speed, agility, and overall fitness. In years past, our team has been a lower level competitive team and did not take our previous workouts very seriously. However, due to this workout program, we have been able to turn a losing record team into a 16-4 winning team and counting! We've been able to out run and out play two previously better teams that we've never been able to beat before! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this workout program not only because Jacob knows how to progress workouts in a safe way for all people, but because his instructions are simple, he has videos to show/explain the workouts, and he even comes to workouts to demonstrate proper techniques and get a sense of how we are progressing. You won't be disappointed!

We got weekly workouts tailored for our ultimate Frisbee club team. The theme and structure was good to introduce beginners. The pace was easy until part way through the season (I believe because of feedback) that made the sessions abruptly more of a challenge. There was variety while still buidling up the foundation provided. Pros - purposeful progression of difficulty, starting to become more directly applicable to field play Cons - slow to adjust to athletic level of team, some exercises appear to not have an application to ultimate, must still do own workouts for conditioning (this isn't enough and does not address individual concerns)
