Lyle Werner's Fiddle Lessons

Introduction: I use a personalized approach to help my students create their own sound. Every student's curriculum is tailored to their interests and desires. I strive to create a friendly and inviting experience that moves at the student's pace. While my teaching is centered around the traditions of Old-Time, Bluegrass, Country, and Cajun fiddling, I emphasize a general set of skills that should be helpful for all styles of music. Teaching music is satisfying to me because I get to learn how each student understands music. At its best, teaching is a reciprocal experience because we both learn new ways to hear and perform music.
