Noah Gershwin has been nothing short of a fantastic guitar teacher, catering to my specific needs while still maintaining the core structure of my larger goals as a player. In other words, he approached my playing on it's own terms, and worked towards bringing it to the best version of itself rather than an impression of something it's not. I have learned so much from Noah over the course of our lessons, and not just instrumental technicalities, but also practicing methods. All around, I cannot recommend him enough. Ps. He's got a cute smile

Great jazz guitar teacher! Down to earth, willing to craft lessons around your interests and brilliant beyond his years. I'm learning jazz theory and improvisation method and my friend is doing more introductory lessons with Noah, so he can really cover a wide range. Definitely recommend for anyone in NYC looking to advance their guitar skill.

Noah is a great, patient instructor that focuses on fundamentals, and shifts his teaching to the style of music you're trying to learn. He focuses on players honing basic skills, and has a great approach that allows students to find their way. He's great!

While I was a student at Oberlin Conservatory my teacher assigned me with 10 students per semester.
