What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We want to make our process is as streamlined and efficient as possible. - To start I usually communicate with my clients to find out their accounting and tax preparation needs. - I will then send a list of tax information that I will need from my clients and an engagement letter for them to sign. (Engagement letter: a formal letter that details each party's responsibilities in the tax preparation process). - Once the tax return is completed, I will send an invoice along with the client's copy of the tax return for them to review. If everything checks out, client will pay the invoice and send us back the efile authorization forms and we will efile their returns right away!
How did you get started doing this type of work?
After working in one of the Big Four accounting firms and a regional firm serving high net worth individuals and businesses I found my passion in helping small business owners with their accounting and tax compliance needs. I want to use what I have learned from the big companies and my experience of serving high net worth individuals to benefit the small businesses and their owners.
