- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
With the ever changing price of fuel and materials it is very difficult to have a standard pricing system in what I do. There are some things such as mulching and mowing that tend to stay pretty standard.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I don't know that I really have a "process" when working with a new customer. I just want them to really be comfortable with me and I want to be totally transparent with them. I think if we are both comfortable and trust each other that we will build a long lasting relationship that will typically bring repeat business because without that no business will ever succeed!
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have 2 years of college where I was majoring in Landscape Architecture but I never completed my degree. In my 20+ years of landscaping I have acquired 2 horticulture certifications from "PLANET" 2 hardscape certifications from "Belgard" and 4 irrigation certifications from "Rainbird". So I do have some credentials to back up the experience.
