Even if you don't need a painter call John.! What a terrific experience. He called me right away and was doing an estimate the next day. I had some scheduling problems because of the hurricane but he rescheduled everything in a timely manner. John was so pleasant throughout the job and did many extra things. He took down mirrors, repainted a room because I changed my mind about the color and even repainted my front door which was accidentally sprayed with bleach from a person doing pressure washing of my roof. No hassle...big smile..very fair pricing and excellent workmanship. He painted the entire interior and repainted my kitchen cabinets put on all new hardware and cabinet pulls...they came out fabulous

Originally read very good reviews and decided to call for a quote. John was very professional and on time! He offered ideas and suggestions to make the house look better. Overall a great job that was no stress. Have used Fine design on multiple occasions since. Even the smaller jobs were all done with the same care and attention. I did some research to find John and his company and in turn wouldn't hesitate to reccomend. Excellent work at a fair price!

John Haskell of Fine Design Painting provided us with the best experience we have ever had with a painter. He was professional, responsive, excellent painter, and even deducted money from his original quote because the job didn't take as long as he had anticipated. He thoroughly prepared the worksite before starting the job and cleaned up after so you would not even know he had been there. Highly recommend, cannot say enough good things about his work.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We offer straight up pricing where the labor and materials are differentiated. We offer the materials at cost and provide various options with the decision ultimately up to the customer. We do not charge extra for working with multiple colors.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We try to educate them on the complete process, the different materials, textures, sheens, etc. With the proper information our customers can establish the value point for their project and act accordingly.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
My father kept me busy at ten years old painting baseboards in his rental units. Never did I imagine what it would turn into!
