What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
For booking reiki classes and group tarot events, a $50 deposit is required up front. The deposit is credited to the total fee. If an appointment made for an event or a class and is canceled more than 48 hours ahead of time, the deposit will be refunded in full. If the class/event is canceled less than 48 hours in advance, the deposit will not be refunded.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Listening. Making sure I fully understand what they need and what their goals are, both long and short term. I then make sure they understand what I can and cannot help them with.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a certified Reiki Master Teacher. I have received training in trance healing, and am certified as a level 1 Akashic reader.
I studied in a traditional spiritualist development group for five years to learn how to fully understand and control my gifts, and use them ethically.
I have also prayed and studied with an Oglala Lakota medicine man.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
It runs in my mother's side of the family. My mother denied her gifts. My grandmother used hers only in dire situations. I am the first woman in my family in generations to be "out of the closet" with being a shaman.
What types of customers have you worked with?
Anyone and everyone! All ages, all races, all walks of life. I work with a lot of animals as well. Mainly cats and dogs but I hope to have the opportunity to work with other species too.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Ask a lot of questions if you don't understand something. Make sure you know what you want to receive from the experience as well.
Ask them why they decided to become a healer/psychic/shaman/etc.
What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
What do I expect to gain/receive from this experience?
Are my needs short term or long term?
If I were offering this service, how would I treat a client who came to me?
