Introduction: I have played the violin and piano for 22 years, and have been teaching violin, piano, and viola since 2011. I maintain a private lessons studio and also perform violin regularly in the Chicago area.
I love music and I love sharing in music with each of my students. Along with an emphasis in technique and music theory, we explore music as a means of communication. Lessons often include critical listening and singing. It is always a goal of mine to cultivate the student's independent learning skills in a fun and rewarding environment.

I started taking piano lessons with my daughter over a year ago and we always enjoy our time with Ashley. She is professional, yet has a friendly and encouraging demeanor. Ashley's various methods and approaches to learning piano keep it fresh and fun. We love how she provides challenging and realistic goals which help stretch our ability and the confidence to achieve them. We highly recommend Ashley!
