Joe was amazing with our Holiday lighting. Exceeded our expectations. Joe was very knowledgeable on what would work with our home and what would look best. He gave us many different pricing options and let us be in charge. He was on time and got the job done with no complications. He was so much better than other past companies we've used. Based on the work quality alone, I would give this a 5 star rating. The job in the end is absolutely perfect and very professional looking. There are some details leading up to the end result that I believe could have been handled better, which is why I gave this an average rating. He was quick to come to my home and provide an estimate for the job. I was informed it would take no more than a day, and I was told up front what the costs of time and labor would be. I was thrown off a bit when I had to pay him up front for the lights. I was reluctant to do so because it would be very easy for someone to cash a check, take the money and run. Of course he didn't do this, but it made me uneasy. My experience has always been to pay for the bulk of the job in the end, while putting down a deposit up front. I would recommend the company think about changing the way they handle transactions in the future. Also, I never saw a receipt for the lights, so while I believe he applied my checks towards the lights purchase, I don't have definitive proof of that. I would have felt more at ease had I'd been shown receipts to account for what my money went towards. Communication was inadequate in the beginning. While he'd tell me the day before he would "spend the day" focused on my job, he'd never tell me exactly what time he'd arrive and sometimes, he wouldn't arrive at the house until very late in the afternoon. One time he arrived at 3 and left and 5 pm, which meant not a lot of work was accomplished. In the end, it took several weeks for the job to be completed. Half of the delay was due to weather issues, but the other half was simply due to poor time management. While the guy who runs this company is very cordial and perfectly capable of doing a great job, I feel there is room for improvement. Towards the end of the job, communication on his behalf did improve, but only after I began expressing my frustrations with punctuality and the amount of time the job was actually taking. Again, the work in the end turned out perfectly and I love the result.

Joe was a pleasure to work with. His communication was great and the bidding and executing process went really smoothly. I was able to be very hands-off between the two properties I had him wash windows for and will absolutely work with him again in the future.
