Introduction: I have always had a soft spot for dogs and can't help but stop to meet a new friend when out and about. I enjoy training them so much my dog earned her Novice Trick Dog Title at 5 months old. My home is in an area near a park with wooded trails paved/unpaved and walk my dog at least four times a day. I have two teenagers at home who also love to spend time playing and helping take care of our visitors. If you prefer I am willing to come to your house daily if needed. Things I'd like to know for the safety of my fur baby and yours. 1. I ask that you have all vaccinations up to date and are able to provide documentation with veterinarian information at drop off. 2. Please provide a drop off and pick up time when inquirining about availability. 3. Is your dog crate trained and potty trained? 4. Any special needs your dog may have or other information you would like me to know. A typical weekday for your dog during the school year would be breakfast followed by going for a walk, a lunchtime walk. When I return from work, the evening is started with a longer walk or trip to a dog park some dinner and time spent hanging out together. In the summertime (Mid-June through the end of August) and weekends we do the same basic routine only I am with your dog the entire day. Our family frequently walks around town. Playing fetch at the dog park is another favorite location for our family. We would love to bring your pup along with us. We own a cottage about an hour and a half from our home. If we are planning to be there with your permission your dog could also enjoy some time at our cottage relaxing in the sun and swimming in the lake. (We have doggie life jackets :) We can provide an extra large crate with a divider and dog bowls so no need to bring yours unless you choose. Please bring food, treats and a leash. Plus if you would like you can bring toys, dog bed or blanket, and anything else that would help your pup feel at home. I am a dog owner myself and know how important it is to feel comfortable about leaving your pet with the right person. Look no further! I am a teacher and I have owned 4 dogs in my adult life.
