FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I charge hourly rates, and estimate how many hours are needed to complete the project after creating a scope of work. I also offer hourly bundles in increments starting at 10 hours. This is very effective for someone who really wants to collaborate and quickly get smaller projects done.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to start with a phone call or meet in their space to get to know their lifestyle a bit. This informs me as to what they are passionate about, and what I can do to create a well functioning and inspiring space.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
My instinctive love of color, form and light have always driven my art and design. I have always been more of a one-on-one person, so I really listen. The personal approach I take is what I believe really makes a design successful, continuing to bring joy and inspiration to the people who live and work in the spaces I design. I earned a bachelor of fine art from Corcoran School of Art+Design, where I focused on painting, drawing sculpture and furniture design. I completed the Interior Architecture and Interior design program at UC Berkeley and honed my talents and skills at LOCZIdesign, a high end Interior design firm in San Francisco where I was part of the design team for 6 years.
