Introduction: I am a professional educator, author, and drummer. I have been tutoring academic subjects and teaching private drum lessons since 2005. My tutoring approach for the ACT is more effective than most guide books and personalized to the student - I coach students to increase their base knowledge in all subjects and to implement vital strategies to significantly increase their score. I really enjoy coaching students to improve their intelligence and success level on the ACT test, because it's significant to their college admission as well as their personal confidence. I love that the work I do has noticable results that show up almost immediately, and I'm grateful to be able to help!

Adam Randall is an oustanding ACT tutor. He gave my son strategies that helped raise his English score and raised his overall ACT score by four points. That difference meant that my son could qualify for more scholarships. I have recommended Adam to many families. He is a wonderful tutor who understands teenagers! We are very grateful for everything he did to help my son. He was also very understanding with the scheduling. We highly recommend him!

Adam is everything anyone could ask for in a tutor! He was always prompt in getting back to us, extremely professional, a great communicator. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My fees are $70/hr. for ACT test prep tutoring, and starting at $60 for all other subjects. (First half hour = FREE session!)
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to begin by briefly becoming acquainted with the student, then collecting information about the student's situation and/or test experiences (if any). I assess the student's primary learning style and formulate a game plan. Then we begin working with content and strategy building, until they're scoring well on practice tests (for ACT tutoring) or otherwise demonstrating mastery of the material they're working on. It's always important to me we're both totally satisfied with the results of the tutoring!
