FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Prices vary according to number of sessions purchased. There are individual, joint, and group rates available. I love couple training because the couple that PLAYS together STAYS together!
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
1. Find out where you are at (How can a trainer guide a client to their goals if he/she can't even find where you're at to start with?) 2. Explain how the body works and allow the client to make choices and small changes that are sustainable. (Diets fail, small sustainable changes breed success!) DON'T tell a client to swap the chocolate bar for an apple. Enjoy the chocolate bar, BUT, if you HAVE to have that then figure out where you can make other changes that YOU (as an individual who knows their lifestyle far better than myself) are capable of making for long term success. Yin and Yang. 3. Keep the client accountable. (There has to be accountability to have a chance of success) 4. Make the sessions FUN!!! It's not always easy to reach a goal but laughing along the way makes the journey more enjoyable! 5. NEVER GET COMPLACENT!!! My uncle once said, "If you are hired to do a job, be the best at your job!"
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
National Exercise Trainers Association (NETA), American Counsel on Exercise (ACE), Aerobics and Fitness Association of America (AAFA)
