- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Id prefer a phone call, but will accept e mail, to at least get a basic idea about the couple and what their ideas are about the ceremony in general. Optimally, I would like to be the one to offer the pre marital counseling that allows them a discount on their Marriage License.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Ordained Pastor, lead pastor at a non denominational church in Owatonna and in Lewiston. I have also been a jail director of a faith based addictions program and am considered a "friend of the court" in drug court/problem solving court so I have had a lot of 1 on 1 and couples mentoring.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I spent years in Public and Private Safety and locked up a lot of people before I realized that it is a lot more rewarding to help people get set free of the addictions and sins that keep them in bondage. As a Firefighter/EMT I also learned and respect the value of life, and worked in scenarios where family members often witnessed grief and tragedy and I was called upon by my superiors to assist in comforting them.
