FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
There are circumstances to each and every job making anywhere from simple to complex. Some jobs take 10 minutes and others can go on and on. It is difficult to estimate a job with what little information is provided. It truly is best and fairest for the customer as well as the professional to conduct a site visit and actually access the amount of work. At that point, all parties have a good understanding of what needs to be done. Estimates from Thumbtack can only be ballpark unless the homeowner has a good understanding and expresses exactly what is required to complete his/hers repair or project.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I meet with customer and evaluate the scope of work requested. With evaluation complete, I provide the customer with an estimate of cost for requested work. I DO NOT ASK FOR MONEY UPFRONT and I only expect my customer to pay when completely satisfied. And yes, I am licensed.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have 8 years of residential electrical experience, 11 years of residential plumbing experience. I renovated 21 homes (different levels of renovation, from full renovation to simple face lifts) for Invitation Homes in the past 4 years. I was an Ass't Director for Palm Beach County for 15 years. Graduated Lake Worth High School and attended Palm Beach Community College.
