Introduction: We cater to Piano students only. With over 18 years of teaching experience for both children and Adults. Students will be taught to learn music of their choice from Classical music to Jazz or church hymns. PIANO RECITAL and AWARDS CEREMONY for all the students is held once a year. For Beginners ages 5 each lesson will include singing, note reading, rhythm and playing on the Piano. Great News! If you are interested in taking music exams. We are the ONLY music studio in Ventura County that offers ABRSM exams to students. The ABRSM exams are held twice a year in Los Angeles.We have been registering these exams since 2000 We at Excel Music take great pride in our attention to our students' success by making sure that every student makes good progress each week either playing their favorite songs or in learning new music theory. We also take pride in making sure that every student who signs up for the ABRSM exams in both theory and practical pass their exams with flying colors.

Thank you so much to my good friend recommended Ms Trevor to my daughter! She plays very good piano since She changed to Ms Trevor 's class.she only learned over a year. Which makes us feel so proud of her. Ms Trevor is a very nice,good patient and intelligent piano teacher.she has a lot of piano knowledge to teach all her students . As we can tell... all her students play so well on each year recital. I am highly recommend Ms Trevor if you decide your kids to learn piano. You weren't waste your money but you will get a big surprise ! At first my daughter learned piano at Camarillo Rock City ,which is much more closer to my house. My daughter didn't learn anything from there. Finding a good & intelligent piano teacher is so so important.I don't mind that it takes me 30 minutes to drive to Ms Trevor 's house each week .to seeing my daughter to getting big improvements piano lessons. All my hard work is worth it.....

As a young girl, I was always drawn to the living room and the sounds I could make by pretending to play music on our family piano. One day, I asked my mother if I could take lessons and she immediately found Ms. Trevor. Since that time, Ms. Trevor has helped our family piano go from a decorative piece of furniture to an integral part of my life. While taking lessons, my sense of responsibility, desire to achieve more, and persistence were inspired by Ms. Trevor's own dedication to her craft, patience with explaining theory and composition, and her positive attitude. She worked with me to set goals, catered the lessons towards my pace, and encouraged me to go beyond and compose my own music. Taking lessons with Ms. Trevor has been a life changing experience and I sincerely recommend her to anyone wanting to play the piano whether you are just starting out or looking for more challenges.

Hello! My children ages 10 and 12 have been taking lessons at Excel Music for over 4 years now. I am very happy with my children’s progress. Miss Trevor has taught both my children with love, kindness and patience. She is one of the most responsible, reliable and patient teacher I have ever known. My sisters and I have been taught by Ms. Trevor for many years. Ms. Trevor is really dedicated to teach her students. We have passed all of our exams with an excellent score. We love her teaching, we wouldn't go anywhere else. I would recommend her for everybody.

For a new beginner who has never taken any music lessons, I will teach them note recognition by singing and writing since audio and visual are both imperative for anyone who learns any new things in life.

Graduated from Trinity College with a Bachelor in Music specializing in teaching.
