Introduction: I was lucky enough to go to beauty school during high school so I received my certification at 17 and have been in this industry for two years thus far. Being a theater student at university, not only do I provide beauty makeup for events, I also do theatrical and special effects makeup for shows and films. I can also do the makeup and photography for headshots! Makeup has been my dream since I was 14 and had to do my own makeup in music theater class. From enhancing people's features to show just how beautiful they can be to making someone's costume dreams come to life, I love it all! Makeup is truly my passion and I'd be honored to have the chance to experience it with you.

Melissa has done my makeup for numerous occasions. Her expertise is incredible from demure for informal occasions to dramatic for nighttime formal events. She has done makeup for me on Halloween from the simple, a striped cat to intricate, a sugar skull. She has also done my makeup for numerous photo shoots. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Prices depend on the type of makeup being commissioned, travel time, and number of people in your party.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Once hired, I like to get full details immediately. We'll discuss skin tones of yourself and everyone in your party, then move onto design. I will provide face charts that I can scan to you, and once those are approved by you we can do a trial so everyone is on the same page in time for the event.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I've received my certification in beauty makeup from ICOES as well as taking makeup classes through my theatre major program.
