Introduction: I have a Bachelors of Fine Arts Degree in costume design for theatre and a Masters Seamstress Certification from the University of Rhode Island. I keep in contact with my mentors, so if I don't know something, I can seek answers for you and find the best solution for your garment. I most enjoy seeing people happy in the clothes/costume I make or alter for them. As a woman who does not fit well into off-the-rack clothes, I understand the frustrations that come with finding the right fit. As a costume designer for theatre, I have worked with many body types and personalities. Tall, round, flat or curvy, I can make it work for you. I can also do alterations/costumes/clothes for babies and children.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I base my prices/estimated on how long the task takes and pay myself $14/hour so if the job will take about an hour and a half I will estimate/charge around $21.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
phone call to see what the project is then we meet in person to look at the garment and do a fitting. Afterwards I work on it at my home. A secondary fitting may be required and we always try it on again upon completion to see if everything is satisfactory. payment received upon completion Customer pays for the work done and any special supplies needed for the project such as beads, extra fabric, or trims but not including basics such as thread etc.
