Introduction: My mission is to help everyone, from beginner to expert, feel comfortable engaging in Italian conversations and believing that learning a second language is not only necessary but possible! I provide lessons to people of all ages determined to learn or improve Italian. Karen is very bright, patient, punctual and professional. She has outstanding education skills, is very engaging and has a refreshing sense of humor. I chose her at random to help me prepare for a trip to Italy. In two short weeks I made significant progress that I fully attribute to Karen and her teaching methods. When I return from Europe I plan to continue to study Italian with Karen. What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I provide custom lessons for every student! While I do have goals that I would like my students to achieve, to me it is always important to ask the students what their goals and create a lesson curriculum based on that. It is all about you learning Italian; never about me teaching a language!
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I started teaching Italian back in 2012 when I moved to the United States to attend college and loved it ever since.
What types of customers have you worked with?
I'm currently working with 17 students, between the ages of 5 and 75 from every corner of the United States, including Hawaii. Yes, everyone no matter the age can learn Italian! I primarily teach online through Skype simply because my students are all over the U.S. However, I would love to teach you in person if you live in the Atlanta area.
