About this pro
pavEDITa is a very responsive and timely proofreader. If you feel good with basic issues in your writing (e.g., grammar, word choices, structures, etc.,), she would be very helpful to check the clarity and make your sentences naturally American. Plus, if you need the edits back in a short time, she is a right one of your choices. I highly recommend her.Apr 26, 2018Verified
Pavita Singh helped me with the final edits of my novel Acadia. She has hawk-like eyes when it comes to spotting grammatical mistakes! She has a very strong understanding of grammatical rules, knowledge how to create solid plot points, and a great sense of how to create emotional depth. She is passionate as well as knowledgeable, a perfect combination for a great editor. Her help was very much appreciated!Sep 22, 2016Verified

She always made sure to get back to me as soon as possible and expressed sincere concern for my opinion on her edits and the time frame. She was very professional. My only problem was that my paper sent to her was a Graduate Thesis, which had to be written in past tense and she changed all of my past tense to present but you edits are made in a way so you can either accept or decline them. Other than that, she was wonderful to work with.Apr 21, 2018Verified

I'm always willing to work within clients' budgets.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?First I try to understand exactly what they'd like to get out of their work with me. Are they looking for content editing? Copy editing? Both? I have them email me their drafts, and then I send my redlined versions back to them. We repeat this process as many times as needed until the customer is satisfied. I make it a point to stay in touch with customers even after a project is completed.
