Compared to other companies, ABS gave me a very competitor price for the work I needed performed (pressure washing, cleaning, mold remediation and dry out). I was initially somewhat concerned because what they promised they would do was above and beyond that of the completion but my concern went away on the first day they were on the job. Everything they said they would do, they did and they did it in a thorough and professional manner. I was very satisfied with the price and the work they did and would definitely use them again should the need arise.

Hurricane Harvey was a traumatic experience. Soliciting quotes for the required Mold Remediation became overwhelming and stressful due to "price gouging" by very rude and unprofessional companies ... UNTIL ... I met Scott of ABS (Abatement Bacteria Services). As soon as I opened my door to Scott, I felt myself relaxing as he approached my door with the warmest smile I'd encountered since the Harvey experience began. Scott immediately made me feel comfortable by explaining the remediation process, how the cost would be estimated and the guarantee that they will be with me each and every step until I received my Mold Certificate. This was truly one of the best professional experiences of my life. I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND ABS to ANYONE (EVERYONE). As first time flood victims due to Hurricane Harvey, we really had no idea how to recover. ABS was recommended by a friend so we called and scheduled them to clean out our flooded home. Upon arrival, the crew immediately went to work and had our first floor down to the studs in 2 days. It was tough to watch most of our home tossed out on the curb but the guys at ABS not only helped to dry out our home but also our eyes. Throughout the process they always offered reassurance, and consolation that everything would be alright. After all of the destruction was removed, ABS power washed every side of every board and all of the foundation. Then they disinfected every surface and set up dryers. Ken promised me that they would not leave until the house was dry and passed inspection. It took 4 weeks of multiple dehumidifiers running 24 hours a day but they got the job done. ABS then hired a mold inspection company to ensure the house was dry and safe. My wife was very impressed as the inspector climbed around all areas of the house to test all of the hard to reach places where mold might hide. We passed and were given the test results and a mold assessment certificate. I have spoken to many of my neighbors who did it themselves or hired other companies and can report that many did not have the experience or results that I had. We are grateful to Ken and his crew. I hope we never have to go through this again but if we do, ABS is the only number I'll call. They are worth every penny!
