- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Interview the principal to learn about the business and challenges to construct the context in which the business operates. Then investigate the tools (including the accounting system(s)) and processes used to operate the business looking for opportunities to move to best practices. Finally propose a plan of action.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I was a practicing CPA for many years and have held a variety of financial and operational management positions where I have acquired the experience to construct and execute best practices including risk determination and cost containment.
- Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
We converted an established company to a new accounting system and implemented new accounting procedures across the business functions improving control and greatly reducing the time spent each month on performing accounting activities.
