Introduction: I am a certified Karen Pryor Academy Training Partner(KPA) This is a 6 month training certification which is knowledge AND demonstration assessed. I offer all positive clicker training for your pets and humane and thoughtful behavior modification for any problem areas. I have over thirty years working with dogs, horses and shelter dogs; many with behavior issues. I have fostered several shelter dogs improving their reactivity issues and successfully adopting out to their forever homes.

Tina of Your Best Friends Academy met my dog Max today. I could tell that he liked and trusted her quite quickly. She loaned me a harness and a clicker to use until mine arrive so I would become comfortable with them. Even though Max wasn't feeling well, I feel that this was a good first session.

Tina was very professional and very familiar with the type of training needed for my dog. She worked with her and gained her confidence and by the end of the session there was no fear or aggression toward her. I am going to work with her for a couple more sessions and see how it goes with Pearl.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I offer flexible schedules to fit your needs and the needs of your dog. Most visits are an hour in length at your home and cost $40 per visit. You can pay in cash or check.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The first session typically takes 1 1/2 hours to get to know you, your pet and what are your expectations. We will discuss and develop a training program using only positive training methods so that your canine learns basic good manners and can progress to higher skills if you are interested in competition
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have worked in the health care sector as a physical therapist and manager of people. During these years I have owned and trained dogs and horses. I use only positive methods to teach you and your dog.
