- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
-$150 to perform 3 songs or less (Common for wedding ceremonies and first dance at wedding receptions) No additional charge for special requests or to learn new music. Additional charge may apply if custom backing track is required. Please inquire. -$250 for a 1 hour set -$50-100 additional to learn a new song -$500 to write/perform original song for your special occasion/event. This includes a professional recording of the song for keepsake.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
My typical process includes asking for specific information about the event (length of event, number of sets needed, number of guests expected, etc). Next, I will ask for expectations of overall mood and specific song requests and/or genres for the event. My focus is to have a clear understanding of my client's wants and expectations so I can deliver a performance in line with the mood of the event. I sing songs from a variety of artists and genres, so special requests are encouraged to ensure my clients get a great performance for their event/special occasion.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
My love for music & singing started at an early age as I sang back up for my mother while she rehearsed her choir solos. Living with my grandfather as a child, I would often wake up to him filling the house with music from any given genre. Some days he would blast Benny Goodman, Thelonius Monk, or Ella Fitzgerald. Other days I would wake up to Tchaikovsky, Chopin, or Beethoven. It was a great introduction to the world of music. Though I absolutely loved music and performing my whole life, I didn't start pursuing it regularly until 2012 when I began performing in musical theater. In 2016, I started offering my solo services for private events and have been doing so ever since.
