Five minutes after receiving the link to view our images, my sister began sharing our family portraits on social media. That's how delighted we were with the outcome! Matthew was responsive, patient with our large group, found the perfect areas to get the best lighting and ultimately, we were very happy with the outcome. I highly recommend him for your photography needs!Jun 8, 2018Verified

Wedding and Event Photography
Matthew was a pleasure to work with! He did group photos for us with over 40 people in attendance and, yes, we can be a handful. He not only was able to take control of the situation to ensure that placement was advantageous, he even took it upon himself to stage several different positions which will give us a variety of photos that we will use for a very long time. We couldn't have asked for a better experience and know that we made the right decision hiring Matthew!Nov 15, 2017Verified
Matthew arrived early and was ready to work. He had his work cut out for him as he was working with a kid, a scared cat, a grumpy old dog and a hyper pup. He never lost his cool and remained professional and very friendly. When we took outdoor shots he laid down on the wet grass in his work dress clothes just to get the perfect shot of my daughter. I can't wait to see the finished shots! Matthew will be hired again when we do senior pictures for both of my kids and dance sister photos. I am so impressed with him and am so happy to have found him to be our photographer!Jun 28, 2017Verified
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?Typically, my rates for small jobs run about $100/hr, but depending on how many people are involved, that can vary. I know many people want photography on a budget, so I'm always willing to try to work out with clients a way for them to get the moment they want, without having to break the bank.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer? The first thing I like to do is to hear about the ideas and vision of the client. It's important that the memory we capture is theirs, and anything they want to get specifically, I want to make sure to take careful note of it.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work? All my training for photography has been on the job or on my own time! I've got a background in business management and work as a project manager for an engineering company, so this is really my passion!
