Introduction: My sessions are guided by the music you love and the songs you want to play. As we learn songs the skills, techniques, and theory will come. I call myself a coach because I feel that my job is to guide you through the joys and pitfalls of learning a new instrument, and give you motivation, accountability, and a new perspective that leads to a deeper love of music.

Being female, I was thrilled to find Christy. I put off taking lessons because I felt intimidated to go into a music store full of male musicians. From the moment I stepped into her studio, I was at ease and knew it was going to be a welcoming space in which I could learn and grow as a player. She is encouraging and supportive and makes you know that you can do it!!!
